Wood is recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer to join its Projects Team, focusing on engineering, procurement and construction of complex plants in the Chemical, Petrochemical and Energy industries. The position will be based in Corsico (Milan) office, with the possibility to work from home up to two days per week.

The Role
The Principal Electrical Engineer reports functionally to the Electrical Department Manager and operationally to one or more Project Managers. He/She is responsible, on projects, for leading a team of discipline engineers / designers, in a multi-office environment, while still performing technical tasks within the projects.

The key objectives for this role are:
Manage proper and timely execution of projects
Responsible for cost, schedule, material quantity / budget control and management of changes
Ensure all contractual electrical engineering documents are issued
Ensure technical accuracy and quality of all work performed by the multi-office electrical project team
Take personal responsibility for safety and a healthy environment on
