This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Payroll Implementation Specialist - GPIS based in Italy.

This role offers the opportunity to become a technical specialist in global payroll implementation within a fully remote, international environment. You will manage the setup and transition of new customers onto a global payroll platform, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivery within agreed timelines. The position combines payroll expertise, technical configuration, data management, customer engagement, and process improvement. You will work directly with customers and multiple internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver seamless payroll implementations. The role also provides an opportunity to improve processes through automation, contribute to platform testing, and strengthen documentation and operational standards. Success requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, ownership, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Accountabilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll customers, ensuring their payroll requirements are accurately understood and transitioned into the appropriate payroll products and services.
- Analyze customer payroll needs and provide practical recommendations based on payroll processes, statutory requirements, and country-specific considerations.
- Manage new customer implementations end to end, including collecting required customer and employee payroll data for each legal entity and configuring the global payroll system.
- Coordinate parallel payroll runs, reconcile wage-based taxes, and verify that payroll and tax configurations comply with applicable statutory regulations.
