We are looking for a driven and passionate Process Technology Engineer to join our BU Catalysts team. In this role, you will go beyond day‑to‑day process oversight: you will oversee and improve the existing chemical plants, lead the design, construction and commissioning of new production plants, implement and optimize procedures, manage HSE&Q; critical aspects and drive impactful cost‑saving initiatives. All while contributing to Clariant's mission of functional excellence and sustainable value creation.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate projects related to process and product optimization, creating detailed work plans and managing interactions between Engineering, Business, and Production teams.
- Evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency while analyzing production unit reliability.
- Provide expertise in chemical production,



including plant startup capabilities and understanding of key procedural requirements.
- Stay current with emerging manufacturing technologies and support production plant projects including troubleshooting and quality improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and Clariant policies, performing process risk analysis for safe equipment operation.
- Apply statistical methods and project management skills to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in production, product development, and project management.
- University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of production processes and process engineering principles.
- Project management skills and proficiency with statistical methods.
- Ability to work effectively across organizational levels with diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in both Italian and E
