In this role, the candidate will work in Ferrari Software Engineering Department – SW Testing area, where Electronic Control Units (ECUs) are tested. The candidate will support the development, management and validation of MATLAB Simulink plant models used in advanced simulation environment. The candidate will be part of a team-oriented environment, involved in developing and applying HIL simulation technology for the Chassis controls domain.
You will cooperate in different activities, including:
Development and maintenance of MATLAB Simulink plant models of physical systems for HIL simulation.
Optimization of models for SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments.
Defining and enforcing modelling guidelines for plant models.
Handling model versioning and configuration (e.g., Git, SVN).
Support of automatic code generation (e.g., Embedded Coder, Matlab Simulink compiler).
Debugging and analysis of discrepancies between simulated and real-world behaviours.
Ensuring proper technical documentation and requirement traceability
Required profile
For this fundamental role, we are ideally looking for a recent Master graduate or current Master student (eligible for internship) or in your final year in Aerospace, Mechanical or Mathematic Engineering.
