La Scuola International is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and creative Learning Support Teacher (Insegnante di Sostegno) to join our Primary School team in Milan for the duration of a Maternity Leave.
We are looking for an educator who shares our commitment to inclusive,
child-centered and inquiry-based learning and who sees diversity as a resource. The ideal candidate is an outside-the-box thinker, able to respond creatively and flexibly to individual children’s strengths, needs and ways of learning.
Schedule: The teacher is expected to be onsite for in-person instruction as agreed upon with Principal and Leadership Team.
Provide individualized support to students with diverse learning needs, in close collaboration with classroom teachers.
Promote students’ inclusion, independence, wellbeing and active participation in all aspects of school life.
Observe and document students’ learning and progress, adapting strategies accordingly.
Collaborate closely with teachers, families, specialists and the school leadership team.
Participate actively in collaborative planning, team meetings and the professional life of the school.
