Our client, a leading Italian Group in the pharmaceutical sector, is currently looking for a:

Tax Specialist
The resource will join the Finance team and report to the Italy Tax Manager.
Areas of responsibility:
- Ensure compliance with Italian tax legislation regarding direct taxes and VAT, including direct tax computation
- Manage current and deferred tax impacts arising from the application of international accounting standards (e.g., IAS 19, IFRS 2, IFRS 16)
- Handle international tax matters such as dividends, CFC rules and withholding taxes
- Analyze and manage VAT-related issues (supply chain flows, triangular transactions, import/export), supporting the Finance function in correctly setting up processes from a VAT perspective
- Ensure compliance with Italian regulations regarding indirect taxes




- Monitor changes in Italian tax legislation and practice, and contribute to improving internal tax procedures

Requirements
- Degree in Law, Economics, or Finance. xlwpduy A Master's degree in Tax Law or an equivalent specialization and/or qualification as a Chartered Accountant is considered a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in Tax, preferably gained in multinational environments, international boutique firms, consulting companies, or Big Four firms
- Excellent command of Italian and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French or Spanish is an additional asset
- Strong analytical, communication and teamwork skills
- Proactivity is required

CCNL: Chimico - Farmaceutico
Total compensation package: RAL 40.000/50.000 + Premio + Welfare
Location: Milan (North area)
