Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Solar Field Technicians to join our client's growing team in Sicily, Italy. This role involves hands-on technical work at solar farm installations, ensuring optimal performance, maintenance,
and troubleshooting of photovoltaic systems.
Locations:
We are recruiting for sites across Sicily, including (but not limited to):
- Ragusa & Surrounding Areas: Modica, Vittoria, Comiso, Scicli, pozzalo
Candidates must be based in Sicily (or willing to commute).
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install, commission, and test solar PV systems at utility-scale solar farms
- Connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to technical specifications
- Perform system integration and grid connection procedures
- Conduct pre-commissioning inspections and quality checks
Maintenance & Operations
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on solar installations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in PV systems
- Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization
- Replace faulty components including panels, inverters, cables, and junction boxes
