About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in building the early sales pipeline for myPOS Order ePOS in Italy. You will focus on identifying and engaging prospective merchants, qualifying opportunities, and creating strong momentum at the top of the funnel in a brand-new market.
Working across both inbound and outbound activity,
you will generate high-quality opportunities and hand over sales-ready leads to the Business Development team for demo and close. This is a pure new-business role, ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, thrives on pace, and is motivated by building something from the ground up.
What you’ll do:
- Identify, research, and engage SMB merchants across target verticals in the Italian market- Respond to inbound leads from marketing campaigns and digital activity, qualifying them against our ideal customer profile
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand each merchant’s current setup, pain points, and readiness to switch
- Ensure smooth and well-briefed handovers for the Business Development team, sharing full context on merchant needs and decision-making process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all prospect interactions and pipeline activity
- Share feedback on market response, pricing objections, and competitor activity with the wider team
