Context:
We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical/Tunnel Engineer specialized in the design of Tunnels with Conventional Method.
Missions/Main Duties:
He/She will coordinate the technical aspects, along with the Head of the Geotechnical and Tunnelling Dpt. and will contribute to the definition of the best technical solution, according with Project requirements, ensuring quality check of the delivered technical documentation. He/She will provide technical support to the design team.
Profile/Skills:
_ Qualifications & Experience required_
- Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnics and/or Tunnelling)
- At least 5 years of experience in tunnelling projects
- Proven experience in design and analysis of underground structures, including but not limited to:
- Geotechnical and geomechanical characterization
- Definition of excavation behaviour categories based on different approaches (ADECO-RS Method, probabilistic approach based on GSI/Q-index, NATM,)
- Design of temporary support system
