Within the Cyber & Security Solutions Business Area, we are looking for a Project Manager for our Rome Laurentina office.
The selected candidates will be integrated into the "Defence & Government Business" Line of Business (LoB), which has the mission of managing divisional business with reference to clients belonging to the Public Administration (central and local).
The individuals we identify will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the achievement of program/project objectives, guaranteeing the operational milestones are met,
as well as full compliance with contractual agreements and the quality of results; aimed at building and consolidating a relationship of trust with the Customer (external/internal);
- Guaranteeing full autonomy in the economic and financial management of the program/project order, ensuring correct progress and monitoring of projects in the "Business Execution" phases, interfacing with the various stakeholders of the company functions and agreeing with the Head of the Business Line on any corrective actions to ensure the success of the program/project and customer satisfaction;
- Supporting the "Business Winning" phases and identifying/building new business opportunities in line with the Business Area Strategy based on customer needs;
- Having full autonomy in managing both internal and external resources, also through the preparation of Capacity Plans;
- Ensuring full adherence to company processes, including the presentation of results achieved through the elaboration and presentation of dedicated metrics for operational and economic management monitoring;
- Ensuring adequate support so that the formulation of propositions is corrected and adapted, assisting the proposed structures.
Education:
- STEM degree or equivalent experience.
Seniority:
- Expert/Senior. Proven experience in Project Management/Technical Project Leader roles is required. For Expert profiles,
at least 3 years of experience is required, while for Senior profiles, at least 5 years of experience is required.
Technical and IT knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of the main Project Management and Planning methodologies;
- Ability to manage highly complex projects;
- Ability to analyze/define requirements, including technical ones, and to estimate/negotiate effort;
- Ability to analyze risks/opportunities and identify related actions;
- Understanding of contractual frameworks and their implications, both regarding Customer contracts and those for supply chain management;
- Knowledge of planning and active and passive lifecycle management procedures and tools (e.g., SAP);
- Excellent knowledge of the Office package, allowing for even complex data processing;
- Knowledge of Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project);
- Experience in managing projects that involved the creation of applications with state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., microservices) is required. Areas of particular interest are: Migration of applications to Cloud; Secure by Design; Knowledge of the main aspects in Cyber Security.
Language skills:
- B2 level English language proficiency.

- Excellent communication and relationship skills with the Customer (internal/external);
- Strong aptitude for teamwork;
- Problem-solving and results-orientation;
- Negotiation skills.
Other:
- Availability for short-medium term national travel;
- Project/Service Management certifications (e.g., PMI-PMP, ITIL, Prince2 foundation/Practitioner) are a plus.
