United Electronic Industries (UEI) is seeking a technically curious, highly motivated Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to support and grow our business across Europe. This role combines technical applications expertise, sales support, and hands-on calibration services.The FAE will serve as a key technical resource for customers and the sales team across the region and will operate and maintain UEI’s calibration station located in Italy. This role will engage customers in complex technical challenges, support the sales process, and perform calibration and service work in a laboratory environment. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Business Development.Key Responsibilities:Support customers across Europe in the design, development, deployment, and debugging of applications using UEI hardware and software.Provide pre- and post-sales technical support via phone, email, virtual meetings, and on-site visits as needed.Perform system-level troubleshooting involving hardware, software, and embedded systems.Execute customer application analysis, prototyping, testing,
and debugging to deliver effective solutions.Conduct software testing, code reviews, and validation activities for both customer and internal systems.Act as a technical bridge between customers, sales, and R&D; communicate customer requirements and recommend product or feature enhancements.Support and deliver customer training sessions (remote and on-site) on UEI products and applications.Partner closely with the European sales team to support opportunity development from initial engagement through close.Qualify technical requirements and recommend appropriate UEI hardware and software solutions.Assist with solution positioning, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.Prepare and support quotations and technical documentation as part of the sales process.Maintain accurate documentation of customer activities, opportunities, and pipeline status in the CRM system.Participate in sales me
