It's a hands-on leadership role where you'll have the scope to improve systems, develop people, and make a visible impact on plant performance.
The Role
As Maintenance Manager, you'll take ownership of maintenance across production equipment, utilities, and site facilities. You'll lead a team of maintenance professionals, coordinate external contractors, and ensure the plant operates safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
You'll balance day-to-day operational demands with longer-term improvement projects, helping the site increase reliability,
reduce costs, and support future growth.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all maintenance activities across production equipment, utilities, and plant facilities
- Run preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance programmes
- Manage and develop a team of mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians
- Coordinate external contractors and ensure work is completed safely and effectively
- Monitor equipment performance and investigate recurring reliability issues
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve uptime, efficiency, and operational performance
- Manage spare parts availability and oversee warehouse inventory
- Control the maintenance budget and identify opportunities to optimise costs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
- Prepare maintenance reports and performance metrics
- Support the selection, specification, and commission
