We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our R&D; Mechanical Engineering team.
In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert , responsible for the design, development and validation of mechanical solutions for elevator systems and components.
You will drive engineering activities from concept through release, provide technical guidance to the team and ensure that solutions meet the highest standards of quality, performance, safety and cost efficiency.
You will collaborate with cross‐functional stakeholders and support the growth of junior engineers through mentoring, knowledge sharing and technical coaching.

Italy (Hybrid: 1 day/week working from home)
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of innovative mechanical solutions for elevator products.
Your responsibilities include:
Leading the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for elevator systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and quality requirements
Creating and reviewing 3D models, drawings and engineering documentation using PTC Creo and managing product data within Windchill
Driving technical decision‐making and providing engineering guidance across development projects and design reviews
Performing engineering calculations, tolerance analysis and technical validations to ensure robust and reliable solutions
Supporting product verification, prototyping and testing activities, analyzing results and implementing corrective act
