Overview: As an Accounts Payable Accountant, your primary responsibility is to manage the registration of invoices and other financial obligations of the organization in an accurate and timely manner. You will ensure that all invoices are processed efficiently, vendors are paid on time, and financial records are accurately maintained. Attention to detail, organizational skills,



and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing:
Receive and review invoices from vendors for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
Code invoices with appropriate account codes and cost centers for proper allocation.
Enter invoices into the accounting system for processing and payment.

Payment Processing:
Prepare and process payment batches, including checks, electronic transfers, and wire transfers.
Verify payment approvals and ensure compliance with payment terms and contractual agreements.
Reconcile payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Vendor Management:
Maintain vendor accounts, including updating contact information and payment terms.
Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other related matters.
Resolve vendor issues and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
