- Today, for its Plant based in Aprilia (LT), we have been asked to search for the Plant Controller.The role
Expectations are to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to track performance and make optimal business decisions.
- Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Plant Controller will be responsible for:
- Preparation and coordination of financial reporting requirements, including monthly and year end accounting.
- Analysis of costings and productivity/efficiency savings - product costings, cost rate setting, labour and overhead recovery, manufacturing efficiency.
- Sales & Margin analysis.
- Inventory Management.
- Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Develops and manages budget for key departments.
- Contributes to the development and implementation of the overall Business Plan. Assists in development of short and long-term objectives for the business. Engages and aligns the organisation to meet key objectives through effective implementation, planning, regular follow up and countermeasures.
- Seeks to improve, automate, and streamline current accounting and reporting procedures to maximize the contribution to the overall Corporate strategic and business goals.
- Maintains robust internal controls and ensures adherence to the corporate Policies related to Finance. Develops and implements local policy for financial control as appropriate.
- Assists with problem resolution and facilitates continuous improvement.
- Working Capital monitoring and improvement.
Requirements:
- Graduated in economics
- 2/3 years of experience in a similar role or as Audit
