Would you like a position with flexible hours?
Senior Helpers is currently recruiting professional, caring, and reliable caregivers to work with our senior clients that need a helping hand with daily ADLs, errands, rides to doctor's appointments, and companionship from energetic people. Experience is preferred but not required.
Primary Responsibilities
- Companionship and conversation
- Personal Care (assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
- Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)
- Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
- Meal planning and preparation
- Medication reminders
- Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
- Transportation using own or client's vehicle
- Helping family members learn safe care techniques
- Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)

Qualifications
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level and interpret the Plan of Care Document provided by Senior Helpers




- Ability to drive is preferred
- Valid US issued driver’s license with no serious driving violations
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
- Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required
- Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
