Job Overview The HVAC Release Engineer is responsible for the development and validation of the automotive A/C line, pressure sensor and accumulator or receiver drier. Responsibilities Ensuring the components meet performance objectives and will coordinate development with other functional areas such as powertrain, BIW, Aero/Thermal, Engine Cooling and suppliers. Duties will include writing source packages, specifications, requirements, change notices and overall supplier management to meet program timing and deliverables. Maintaining component and sub-system DVP&R;, support and keep up to date with component bench testing, simulation, drive-cell and static cell test results as well as perform data analysis and establish proper corrective actions as required.
