What you'll be doing
As our Engineering Manager, you'll lead a squad of engineers driving the technical execution and delivery of our Consumer products, shaping how millions of users save, invest, and grow their money.
Here's what that looks like in practice:
- Lead and grow a Consumer-oriented team:
Own the day-to-day management of a squad of 3-5 engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement while ensuring high team morale.
- People Management & Mentorship: Actively invest in the growth of your team members through regular 1:1s, actionable feedback, performance reviews, and identifying stretch opportunities to help them advance their careers.
- Drive delivery and technical execution: Translate product and business goals into a clear, predictable technical roadmap. Optimise agile workflows, unblock your team, and ensure reliable execution of ambitious projects.
- Collaborate across domains: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other Engineering Managers to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and define shared engineering standards.
- Report up and communicate clearly: Keep leadership informed on team progress, risks, and blockers, effectively translating
