Develop and maintain high-fidelity physical models of mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical automotive systems,
particularly braking systems.
Model and simulate braking system components and architectures, including hydraulic circuits, valves, actuators, pumps, accumulators, calipers, master cylinders, brake boosters, and related mechanical elements.
Develop 1D system-level models to investigate system performance, dynamic behavior, component interactions, and failure modes.
Use Siemens Simcenter Amesim and MathWorks Simscape/Simulink to create, calibrate, and validate physical models.
Establish modelling methodologies and best practices across the different simulation toolchains.
Translate physical requirements and engineering specifications into appropriate mathematical and physical representations.
Correlate simulation models against test-bench, component, and vehicle-level measurements.
Perform parameter identification, model calibration, sensitivity analysis, and uncertainty assessment.
