M echanical Project Designer
We are looking for a Mechanical Project Designer willing to join our Melt Shops Team, with strong passion for technology and motivation to work within a multicultural and challenging environment. You will work in an international environment characterized by high technology complexity.
Design in 2D and in 3D format, as mandatory skills. Consider customer requirements, timing target, quality and reliability targets, cost optimization and design for manufacturability in all new equipment design;




Prepare layouts showing to Client how and where the equipment will be installed in their plant;
Develop all mechanical aspects of a project; prepare and/or verify basic and detail engineering, both internal and external, according to the level of responsibility;
Estimate, during basic engineer phases, the weights for structures/equipment to better fit and optimize with the technical design requirements. Perform the basic/detail engineering elaboration about input data received (from Project Engineer, Mechanical Dept. Manage engineering external studio, taking responsibility too as timing and schedule proper progress;
Design equipment in compliance with all applicable regulation; define the project standard specification in cooperation with the Project Engineer as well as with Contract targets;
Understand, develop and review design of civil works for the installation of the machines;
Perform, if necessary, on‑site inspections from site surveys up to the asc
