We are looking for a Senior Mechanical / HVAC Enginee r to lead the technical delivery of our Data Centre and large-scale Pharmaceutical projects. THE ROLE
You will be the mechanical lead of our projects in Italy as well as a key member on other international projects, working closely with all the other disciplines (Architecture, Structures, Civils and Sustainability) and clients to deliver innovative designs.
- Lead mechanical technical design (HVAC, cooling, piping and ventilation) for all project stages, from concept to construction, including calculations, concept development, project coordination, H&S;, risk management and project delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate teams of engineers and technicians, assigning tasks,
providing technical guidance and ensuring team cohesion toward project goals.
- Identify and specify appropriate mechanical equipment and components to meet project objectives, considering energy efficiency, reliability, redundancy and system compatibility.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of critical cooling systems, variable flow closed-circuit water systems, chilled water applications and mechanical equipment selection.
- Carry out hydraulic system calculations, including pump sizing, pressure drop analysis and flow control for chilled water applications.
- Work concurrently on multiple projects from concept through to delivery.
- Use a solution-based approach to solve complex thermal and fluid dynamic problem
- Ensure full compliance with Italian regulations.
- Produce and sign off official submissions to local authorities.
