With 69 Innovation and RD design centres globally, we specialize in disruptive technology spaces such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Collaborative Robots, Digital Factory, and Autonomous Transport /ppbr / /ppstrongWe are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles responsibilities :- /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongStaff Automotive BSW Engineer /strong /ppstrongTurin, Italy /strong /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities: /strong /pulliLead the design and integration of OS and hypervisor platforms (e.g., QNX, QNX Hypervisor, Linux, Android GVM) for automotive SoCs /liliArchitect and implement cybersecurity features at the OS and virtualization layers, including secure boot, runtime isolation, access control, and memory protection /liliCollaborate with platform security teams to define and implement threat mitigations, attack surface reduction, and secure software lifecycle practices /liliDevelop and configure drivers for UART, SPI, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, and LVDS /liliContribute to BSP integration, system bring-up,
and OS/Hypervisor initialization on new SoC platforms /liliDebug and troubleshoot system-level issues using industry-standard tools such as JTAG, logic analyzers, and trace probes /li /ulpbr / /ppbr / /ppstrongBasic Qualifications: /strong /pulliBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field /lili2+ years of experience in embedded software development, including OS/hypervisor integration and security architecture /liliStrong programming skills in C/C++, and familiarity with secure coding practices and static analysis /liliDeep expertise in at least one OS/hypervisor platform such as QNX, Linux, or Android GVM, and virtualization technologies /liliHands-on experience with secure boot, access control mechanisms, MMU/MPU configuration, and cryptographic libraries /liliProven experience with BSP development, device drivers, and SoC bring-up /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongPreferred Qualifications: /strong /pulliMaster’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field /liliExperience with security threat modeling, penetration testing, and risk assessment /liliFamiliarity with hardware security features (TPM, TrustZone, HSM) and secure firmware /liliDeep understanding of ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, and automotive cybersecurity requirements /liliExperience working on ASIL-B/D safety-rated systems /liliProficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and test automation for embedded platforms /liliExposure to vehicle networks (CAN, Ethernet, LIN) and network security protocols /li /ulpbr / /ppbr / /ppPlease apply with your CV, we are really looking forward to hear from you and have you #EngineeringTheChangetogether /p
