ABOUT THE ROLE – Electrical Engineer We are looking for an

Electrical Engineer

to join an important

Oil & Gas

project. Reporting to the

Jacket Engineering Coordinator , the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment for Oil & Gas facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, project specifications and safety requirements throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering Review and contribute to the design of electrical power distribution systems, including

LV, MV and HV

systems. Review

Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), load lists, cable schedules, grounding and lighting layouts . Review electrical equipment selection, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, UPS, batteries and motors. Support electrical system studies such as

load flow, short circuit, arc flash and protection coordination . Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, including

IEC, NEC, IEEE, API, NEMA and ATEX .

Project Execution & Procurement Review vendor documentation and technical specifications. Prepare

Material Requisitions (MRs), Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs)

and equipment datasheets. Interface with Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams to ensure proper integration of electrical systems with other disciplines. Support technical clarification and coordination activities with vendors and suppliers.

Construction & Commissioning Supervise electrical installation activities and verify compliance with approved designs and project standards.



Support inspection, testing and pre-commissioning of electrical equipment. Participate in

FATs (Factory Acceptance Tests)

and

SATs (Site Acceptance Tests) . Support troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues during installation and commissioning.

Operations & Maintenance Provide technical support to Operations teams for troubleshooting and maintenance activities. Review condition-monitoring data, including

IR thermography and insulation resistance tests . Participate in root cause analysis of electrical failures. Support activities aimed at maintaining asset integrity and optimizing electrical system performance throughout the asset lifecycle.

Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

or equivalent qualification. At least

5 years of professional experience

in the relevant discipline after obtaining the university degree. Previous experience in electrical engineering activities within the

Oil & Gas sector , preferably in onshore and/or offshore environments. In-depth knowledge of electrical design for Oil & Gas facilities. Good knowledge of

hazardous area classification

and electrical equipment selection. Experience with electrical system modelling software such as

ETAP, SKM or DIgSILENT . Good understanding of electrical protection systems, earthing, lighting and lightning protection. Knowledge of relevant international standards and regulations. Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills. Excellent spoken and written English ,



with proven ability to prepare technical reports.

Key Competencies Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Good understanding of the full project lifecycle, from engineering and procurement through construction and commissioning. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail and strong technical documentation skills. Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Vendor teams. Safety-oriented approach, particularly in hazardous Oil & Gas environments.

The salary for this role ranges from

€40.000 to €50.000 The position is governed by the

National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for the Commerce and Tertiary Sector

applied by our company. The final salary within the stated range will be determined based on the candidate's technical skills, relevant experience in the role, and the outcome of the selection process, using objective and neutral criteria. In exceptional cases, where a candidate's profile significantly exceeds the requirements associated with the stated salary range, a review of the compensation may be considered, subject to internal approval.
