Exciting Opportunity for a Data Engineer in the Mining Sector

Location: Democratic Republic of the Congo

Are you a skilled Data Engineer ready to make a significant impact in the dynamic world of mining operations? Look no further! We're seeking a talented individual to join the team in Congo, contributing to groundbreaking projects that shape the future of the industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the databases maintain architectural integrity and efficiency.
2. Verify operational technologies, systems, and necessary infrastructure compatibility.
3. Validate that the architecture aligns with business needs.
4. Create and deploy scalable systems to support future growth of data solutions.
5. Oversee the ETL process (Extract, Transform, Load) to enhance and integrate data value chains.

Key Requirements:

1. University degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Certification in Project Management: PMI-PM, Agile,



Prince-2, or equivalent.
3. Data Engineering Certification: Azure, IBM, AWS, Google, Databricks, SnowPro, and more.
4. At least 5 years' experience in mining operations, understanding the unique challenges and intricacies of the field.
5. At least 5 years' experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of implementing robust data solutions.
6. At least 5 years' experience in change program, digital project management, digital transformation, etc.
7. Must be fluent in French and English (Congolese national)
