Payout: $90 - $140/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Technical Writing Specialist to work on a contract basis. The role involves creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation for software and AI platforms. The position requires collaboration with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and clarity of technical content.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API guides, user manuals, and developer guides.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and clarity in documentation.
Update and revise existing documentation to reflect product changes, new features, and software updates.
Create and maintain style guides, templates, and best practices for technical writing.
Conduct reviews of technical content for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to documentation standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience writing technical documentation for software, APIs, or AI platforms is required.
Proficiency in Markdown, HTML, or other markup languages for documentation formatting is required.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for documentation management is required.
Experience with tools like Confluence, MadCap Flare, or similar documentation platforms is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly are required.
