Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (Data)
Senior Java-focused lead developer role responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-grade database-backed Java applications. You will align technical deliverables with product goals, guide developers, and provide L3 support across the software lifecycle. - Collaborate with product owners to translate business objectives into technical requirements
- Analyze change requests, design solutions, and guide implementation
- Support development teams and oversee design, testing, and modification phases
- Participate as part of the L3 support team
- Design specifications and develop solutions per functional and technical design
- Bug fixing and enhancements of work packages and services
- Build and maintain IT solutions using Java technologies
- Participate in root cause analysis of incidents and effort estimation
- Incident handling and problem resolution
- Change management
- Application maintenance and enhancement
- Monitoring and infrastructure support
- Documentation and knowledge transfer
- Client team collaboration
- Strong experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQLServer databases
- Design patterns knowledge (DAO/DTO/Factory/Singleton/Strategy)
- Spring, MVC, AOP, messaging frameworks (Apache Camel, Apache ActiveMQ/Artemis, IBM MQ)
- Experience with REST APIs, JAXB, JMX, JSON, XML processing
- Experience with build tools (Maven) and CI/CD (Jenkins)
- Familiarity with Linux/Windows environments and scripting
- Security concepts (Java Keystore, encryption)
- Experience with logging and monitoring (Logback, Splunk, OpenSearch, Icinga)
- Knowledge of DB performance tuning and SQL optimiza
