RINA is looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Manager (PQCS) to join a major Oil & Gas project in Milan. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating supplier quality activities, supervising vendor inspection processes, and ensuring compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements and international quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the focal point for supplier quality matters between client, project team, vendors and inspectors.
Coordinate and supervise vendor inspection activities and inspection personnel.
Review technical documentation, material requisitions, supplier quality documentation, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Define inspection strategies and inspection assignment packages based on material criticality.
Coordinate Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIMs), factory inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with project specifications and Saudi Aramco standards.
Manage non-conformities (NCRs) and follow up corrective actions.
Prepare quality and procurement progress reports for project management.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
Proven experience in Supplier Quality, Vendor Inspection, Quality Control or Procurement Quality activities within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Industrial projects.
Experience coordinating inspection teams and managing supplier quality activities.
Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, fabrication, inspection and testing activities.
Previous experience with Saudi Aramco projects is highly desirable.
API 510 and/or API 653 certifications are considered a plus.
