We currently have an exciting new opportunity for a CAD Engineer Draughtsperson. The role can be based in Aberdeen,
Washington or Dinnington.
To create technical drawings and plans using CAD software (Solidworks) from concept to design solutions. Working closely with the Project Engineers and Engineering Director to ensure all drawings align with the project requirements and industry standards as well to the satisfaction of the Clients.
Accountability
- Taking designs from concept into practical design solutions
- Production of 3D model parts and assemblies using the latest Solidworks software
- Review customer specifications and translate into new designs
- Generate and revise drawings where it is necessary to produce non-standard products to meet customer specification requirements
- Action and amend Bill of Materials (BOM) using Aessop software
- Action and amend manufacturing drawings
- Ensure that all work under the control of the CAD Engineer Draughtsperson is completed to agreed scheduled target
