About The ClientOur client operates in the space technology sector, working on satellite systems and mission‑critical engineering projects that require advanced expertise in spacecraft control, simulation, and verification.
Role OverviewWe are looking for a Space Quality Assurance Engineer with strong knowledge of ECSS‑Q standards to support quality and product assurance activities on satellite or spacecraft projects. This role is suited for someone with hands‑on experience in space project QA, technical documentation, process compliance, supplier follow‑up, reviews, audits, and non‑conformance management.
The ideal candidate has worked in the space or aerospace industry and understands how ECSS‑based quality requirements are applied across engineering, manufacturing, testing, and delivery.

- Contract: Contractor Agreement
- Commitment: Full‑time (multi‑year)
- Locations: ONSITE, Friedrichshafen, Germany; Relocation support
- Notes: EU passport needed; English fluency is required; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance and product assurance activities for satellite or spacecraft projects
- Ensure project processes and deliverables comply with ECSS‑Q requirements
- Review technical documentation, quality records, test documentation, and project deliverables
- Support design reviews, manufacturing reviews, test readiness reviews, and acceptance reviews
- Monitor non‑conformances, corrective actions, deviations, waivers, and quality risks
