Why this Role Matters
This role plays a key part in keeping manufacturing equipment reliable, safe, and efficient. By troubleshooting automation and controls issues, supporting machine upgrades, and contributing to continuous improvement projects,
the role helps minimize downtime and maintain production performance. Working closely with internal teams and external suppliers, this role also supports technology development, equipment safety, compliance, and business continuity while ensuring alignment with global Engineering, EHS, and IT standards.
What You’ll Do

- Maintain and troubleshoot controls and automation systems, resolving equipment performance issues and minimizing machine breakdowns to support daily production targets.
- Lead structured problem-solving activities using approaches such as 8D and A3, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Support machine retrofit, technology, and continuous improvement projects, including the implementation of new capabilities for safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Coordinate and supervise external suppliers involved in automation projects, equipment upgrades, technical installations, and equipment obsolescence
