POSITION SUMMARYThe Presales Electrical Engineer is an important part of an interdisciplinary team of technical experts (mechanical, structural, architectural) to bring together schematic design for Data center (Hyperscale, Enterprise, Colocation, Edge, CLS) and Critical Infrastructure facilities. Position includes applying theoretical knowledge, practical engineering skills, as well as communicational skills in the fields of Clean Energy, AI and Data center design.RESPONSIBILITIESConcept design of Data center electrical power systems and architecture, with traditional and AI design requirements, which includes:
LV power distribution (low voltage switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, busbar systems)MV power distribution systems (medium voltage switchgear and transformers)Auxiliary systems (AC, DC), lightning protection systems, diesel gensets….Electrical load calculations, arc flash,



short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling toolsElectrical single-line diagramsUnderstanding of relevant codes and standards for electrical power equipment and installationsCoordination with other technical disciplines (architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, fire protection)Reading and understanding RFP and tender documentsProblem solving and interpretation of customer requirements in proposed solutionsModular Data center technical solutions and quotationsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering5+ years experienceProficient in Electrical power system design Sizing and specification of electrical equipment and installations Knowledge of electrical load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination study calculations and modeling tools Solid communication skills, both written and oral, to work across multiple Engineering and Manufacturing teams to bring architectures and concepts to deployment PC skills: active user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), AutoCADActive EnglishPHYSICAL & ENVIRO
