Our client is a well-established manufacturer of complete packaging systems, from standard bottles, jars and closures to custom packaging solutions and specialized parts.
As part of their European growth strategy, they are expanding their sales team with this new appointment. The role will ensure consistent growth in sales by identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies and action plans.
Responsibilities & Key Tasks:
- Proactively develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers to drive revenue growth
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through structured planning, outreach, and pipeline management
- Engage potential customers via phone, email, and face‑to‑face meetings to understand needs and present tailored solutions
- Conduct customer visits to assess requirements, promote products/services, and strengthen long‑term partnerships
- Perform cost–agevolazioni and commercial viability analyses for both existing and prospective accounts
- Resolve customer issues effectively by identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and providing feedback to management
- Consistently achieve and exceed agreed sales targets within defined timelines
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams to ensure aligned and effective sales delivery
- Provide regular market and customer insights, including needs, trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
- Recommend improvements to products, services, and commercial strategies based on performance analysis and market feedback
- Monitor competitor activity, including pricing, product developments, and go‑to‑market strategies
- Support pricing strategy, quotations, promotions, and commercial negotiations
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective and existing clients
