THE ROLE





You will be working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary group, where junior and senior scientists collaborate, each with their expertise, to carry out a scientific activity with a shared research goal.

The _Brain Development and Disease_ Research Unit is coordinated by Dr Laura Cancedda. The research focuses _on _investigating the role of Negr1 in brain disorders. This includes_ _models of autism spectrum disorders.

Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be:
- Perform behavioral experiments (in models of brain disorders)
- Perform cell biology experiments ex-vivo (in models of brain disorders)

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- A PhD in_ _Neuroscience, including neurodevelopment, and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in behavioral and cell biology activities
- Strong publication record
- Good command of spoken and written English
