Greentalent, recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market, on behalf of a start-up which has developed an innovative proprietary technology for molecular recycling of plastic waste, is looking for a:
Senior Pilot Plant Process Engineer The ideal candidate holds a university degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or related field and has a relevant experience in chemical plant operations, pilot plant management, or process engineering. The candidate will lead the operations of the company pilot plant, oversee the daily operations closely with Engineering, R&D; and Operations teams to refine and scale up the chemical process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execution of the experimental campaigns: perform data acquisition and analysis, interpret experimental data, assess system performance, identify operational bottlenecks, limitations, and critical parameters, and verify equipment and instrumentation functionality;
- Technical ownership of our pilot plant asset supporting Operations team:
ensure safe, continuous, and reliable functioning of the facility, manage the procurement of spare parts, equipment, and materials required for smooth day-to-day operation, support pilot plant operation for maintenance and upgrades, definition and preparation of the operating procedures of the pilot plant;
- Provide data to and support the Process Engineering group engaged in developing and delivering the licensor’s PDP;
- Participation to project meetings and safety risk assessment carrying the practical experience built on pilot plant;
- Continuously develop and improve the process in terms of equipment reliability, material and components selection, operability, constructability, the most suitable instrumentation;
- Foster constructive and goal-oriented collaboration within the technical group (Engineering, Operation, R&D;), promoting knowledge exchange, alignment on priorities, and a s
