Process Engineer

To strengthen our Manufacturing Site in Samarte, Italy, we are looking for a committed Process Engineer (m/f/d).
About The Role
As a Process Engineer, you will drive the analysis, optimization, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes. You will manage plant CAPEX projects and work cross-functionally to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and cost‑effectiveness.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor production processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement data‑driven improvements
- Support preventive and extraordinary maintenance planning and ensure adequate spare parts availability
- Collaborate with HSE on supplier management, documentation, and compliance with safety regulations
- Participate in equipment, machinery, and process validation and support troubleshooting of production and quality issues
- Analyze technical and production KPIs, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions
- Contribute to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, including procedures related to safety and environment
- Define technical, quality,
and production specifications for new investments and manage CAPEX projects from budgeting to commissioning
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Mechanical, Aeronautical, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of practical experience ideally in PVC compounding or the chemical industry
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance, and control systems
- Familiarity with PLCs and basic programming logic; knowledge of ISO 13485 is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, shop‑floor oriented mindset
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) and ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels
- Experience working with ERP/MES systems (preferably SAP) is an advantage
