What you will do
The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the Business Development team and supporting the commercial growth of EDP's distributed generation and energy solutions business in Italy. The role combines leadership, technical-commercial expertise, project development, bid management and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will manage a multidisciplinary team responsible for the preparation,
costing and negotiation of complex energy solutions including photovoltaic plants (PV), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), grid connection and electrical infrastructure upgrades, e-mobility solutions and other distributed energy projects. The Business Development Manager acts as a key link between Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Delivery, Asset Management and senior management, ensuring that competitive, technically sound and financially viable solutions are delivered to customers.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor and develop the Business Development team.
- Define team priorities, workload distribution and performance objectives.
- Ensure high quality and timely preparation of commercial offers, tenders and technical proposals.
- Foster collaboration across departments and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
