Lead the end-to-end design and evolution of the Eight Sleep app
Create information architecture, low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and other product design deliverables
Conduct usability studies and user interviews
Work with the in?house customer discovery squad
Use qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate design success or failure
Make design decisions that improve the app experience, reduce churn, and increase engagement
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver user experiences that increase membership value and support hardware innovations
Build, document, and organize UI components for the design library and system
Align with Product and Brand stakeholders
Present design updates to C-suite leadership for feedback and approval
Serve as subject matter expert for app design patterns and interactions
Research emerging mobile design trends and best practices
Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to ship products and features
Requirements
4+ years experience in UX and UI
Strong portfolio including live mobile examples
Experience shipping designs to public users with data demonstrating success or failure
Ability to consider technical implications of design decisions and balance user value with technical effort
Experience coaching junior designers and collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers
Ability to manage the design process end to end in ambiguous environments




Ability and flexibility to iterate fast and often
Ability to write clear agendas and decks and present design evolutions to C?Suite leadership
Openness to occasional travel to other office locations (San Francisco, Milan) for in?person collaboration
Bachelor's degree in a related design field or equivalent experience
Bonus: experience building iconic consumer?facing mobile apps at small and mid?size tech startups with supporting data and reviews
Premio: experience designing mobile apps for Android
