The Virtual Analysis Engineer is responsible for executing and achieving the virtual crash validation approval.
Design Units (mainly Body / Chassis / Interiors / Engine systems / PRS), with which they propose and share design interventions to achieve targets
Safety Testing areas, with which they share virtual results and ensure consistency with previous experimental experience
The Safety Project Engineer (PE), who acts as the managerial/organizational interface with the project platform
The Virtual Analysis Engineer is responsible for:




Contributing to the preparation and tuning of Safety calculation models
Performing numerical simulations for the Safety virtual validation plan
Proposing and sharing design improvements with engineering teams to achieve Safety targets, in line with cost, weight, and development time constraints
Support the FEM modeling phase, participating in the setup and preparation of CAE models for vehicle/subsystems aimed at crash analysis
Perform numerical simulations for various safety load cases
Review and analyze simulation results in alignment with experimental data and share them with project team, in alignment with SAFETY PE/PPL
Share improvement actions with design teams
Perform benchmarking activities, competitor analysis, and monitoring of technology and supplier/competitor know-how
2 - 5 years of experience
~ Knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM)
~ Knowledge of pre-processing and post-processing tools (BetaCAE suite)
~ Fluent spoken and written English
Knowledge of homologation test standards and automotive rating protocols
Basic knowledge of sheet metal design and stamping processes
Basic knowledge of CAD/PLM systems
