We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Intern to join the Finance Operations team. The position will be based in Milan, and start as soon as possible.
Gross reimbursement: 800 euro

You Will Primarily Be Responsible For
Ensuring customer invoices are processed accurately and on time
Reconciling bank statements and other payment methods
Allocating daily payments and settling invoices
Identifying and highlighting credit notes and write-off concerns
Monitoring and collecting overdue debtors to minimise Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
Creating and maintaining customer master data
Escalating issues promptly and managing disputes
Engaging with internal departments to resolve customer queries
Preparing monthly statements for customers
Supporting management and the team to achieve goals and objectives
Providing reporting and analysing data to identify trends
Assisting in internal and external financial audits, ensuring compliance with controls and policies
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Your Profile
Currently studying towards a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
Understanding of the Order-to-Cash process
Advanced skills in Excel; knowledge of French is a plus
Excellent English skills (written and spoken)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Highly analytical with the ability to identify risks
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Proactive, adaptable and flexible
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Assertive, persistent and target-oriented
Able to work independently and as part of a team
