Within the Aeronautics Division, in the scope of the Aircraft B.U. Engineering, in the Digital Engineering Unit, we are looking for a Digital Engineer for the Turin and/or Pomigliano office.

The Digital Engineer will be responsible for carrying out the relevant activities as head of the DIGITAL ENGINEERING unit, in particular:

- Manage the relevant team to achieve assigned objectives;

- Within the Engineering UO and with particular attention to international cooperation programs,



act as the primary interface for Engineering towards partners and other company functions for defining requirements for digital technological infrastructures, the Common Working Environment, the toolchain necessary for engineering processes, and all digital enablers required for conducting Engineering activities;

- Manage the collection, definition, implementation, and prioritization within Engineering of requirements for the adaptation and innovation of services/networks/systems, managed by Digital Solution, necessary to satisfy the business model and engineering transformation;

- Manage the maintenance of know-how on the state of the art of calculation and simulation tools and support/development of new processes and tools necessary to streamline and improve the production and management of calculation results, including support for identifying high-performance computer management techniques shared and coordination of the development of internal tools when considered strategic and/or cost/effective.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related disciplines.

Required Experience Level: Expert/Senior – At least 5 years of experience in complex corporate environments





Technical Skills:

- Knowledge of the main digital processes/methodologies/tools for designing an aeronautical product;

- Knowledge of the organization and technologies of networks/technological and digital infrastructures supporting the design process;

- Knowledge of the aeronautical design "toolchain" and the concept of "digital thread";

- Knowledge of new technologies (AI, Cybersecurity, etc.) applied to aeronautical design and qualification processes;

- Knowledge of operational management, through common management tools, of team activities (planning, activity progress, budgeting, milestones, etc.);

Optional:

- Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering;

- Knowledge of ALM/PLM;

- Knowledge of main aeronautical regulations.

Behavioral Competencies:

- Proactive person, with strong organizational skills and ability to manage/work in multidisciplinary teams or independently regarding areas of expertise;

- Ability to interface with other company units/figures as well as with partners/clients in international settings;

- Leadership with a focus on transformation and change aimed at supporting digital innovation;

- Ability to communicate effectively in both Italian and English.

Excellent written and spoken English.
