We're looking for a Solutions Engineer/Sales Engineer who can bridge deep technical expertise with strong customer engagement.

In this role, you'll work closely with prospects and our Sales team to understand complex technical challenges, demonstrate how Akamas can address them, design tailored solutions, and lead hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) in real customer environments. If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, explaining technology clearly, working directly with customers, and proving the value of a solution hands-on, this could be a great fit. Lead technical discovery with prospects to understand their architecture, challenges, requirements, and business goals.

Deliver technical product demos tailored to different audiences, from engineers and architects to technical and executive stakeholders. Shape tailored solutions to match customers' needs. Partner with Product & Engineering to make sure what we promise is real and scalable 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles (Solution Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar).

Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures based on Kubernetes . Familiarity with observability solutions (such as Dynatrace, Datadog, Grafana, ...) Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging with technical and executive stakeholders. Flexible and proactive,



able to balance pre-sales, PoC execution, and handover to Customer Success teams.

Fluent

English, with the ability to communicate confidently in technical discussions, customer meetings, presentations, and written communications.

Background in performance engineering.

Experience in tuning complex IT Stacks (based on Java, Node.js, Go, ...). Proficiency in major cloud platforms (AWS, Google, etc.). Strong scripting/automation skills (Bash, Python). Last year, we secured a $10 million investment from United Ventures, a leading venture capital firm investing in high-growth technology companies.

Contract Type : Italian Collective Labour Agreement - CCNL Commercio Compensation: The expected gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is not less than €48.000, depending on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications assessed throughout the selection process.
