Role Description The Senior Site Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This contract role is on-site and located in Udine, where the Senior Site Manager will coordinate construction activities, supervise site staff and subcontractors, and manage schedules and resource allocation. The role involves monitoring work quality, enforcing health and safety standards, and resolving operational issues as they arise.
The Senior Site
Manager will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, prepare regular progress reports,
and support risk management and compliance with local regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong background in site management, construction supervision, and coordination of multidisciplinary project teams.
- Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management using relevant tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage site safety, quality control, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Experience in stakeholder communication, including reporting to investors, clients, and internal leadership.
- Relevant technical education (e.g., civil engineering, construction management) or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in managing large or complex construction projects, ideally within European markets.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to make informed decisions under time constraints.
- Ability to work on-site in Udine and collaborate effectively in multicultural, cross-border project environments.
- Working proficiency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
- Familiarity with contract administration, budgeting, and cost control is highly beneficial.
