We are looking for a bright and motivated Tax Specialist to join our team at the Company’s Headquarters in Genoa – Italy. In this role, you will support tax compliance and reporting activities, contribute to tax analyses impacting the business, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across different jurisdictions.

In this role, you will contribute to the effectiveness of Costa’s tax function, supporting compliance, reporting, and governance activities while helping the business navigate an evolving regulatory environment.

Tax Compliance & Reporting

You will support tax compliance activities across different jurisdictions, contributing to the preparation of periodic and annual tax returns, reporting requirements, and statutory financial statement activities. Through your attention to detail and accuracy, you will help ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.

Tax Analysis & Business Support





You will contribute to business projects with tax implications by preparing analyses and documentation, while supporting research on specific tax matters and regulatory developments. You will help assess the tax impact of business initiatives and contractual agreements, providing insights that support informed decision-making and compliance.

Collaboration, Governance & Continuous Improvement

You will collaborate with Finance teams, business functions, external consultants, and Group stakeholders to collect, validate, and consolidate tax-related information. You will support reporting, audit, and tax authority requests, contributing to the quality, timeliness, and reliability of tax compliance processes.

What makes you unique

- Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Law, combined with at least 2 years of experience in a tax consultancy firm, corporate tax department, or finance/accounting environment.

- Good knowledge of tax compliance principles, VAT legislation, accounting processes, and corporate reporting requirements, with experience supporting tax returns, reconciliations, reporting packages, or statutory financial statement activities.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to research tax matters, interpret regulations, identify inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy in tax-related documentation and reporting.

- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with Finance colleagues, business functions, external consultants, and Group stakeholders.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; knowledge of ERP or accounting systems is a plus.

- Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are considered an advantage.
