In addition, the Hotel has a Bistrot with Italian and international cuisine, a Bar and a Courtyard for informal meetings or relaxing breaks, a fully equipped fitness centre and 7 meeting rooms.
The property is part of Marriott International which is the world's largest hotel brand and Westmont Hospitality Group.
We are looking for a Sales Executive.
Position Summary The Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to achieve hotel revenue targets. The role focuses on promoting the hotel’s rooms, meeting spaces, and services, while identifying opportunities to maximize occupancy and revenue across all market segments.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities within assigned market segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other key accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, site inspections, and client meetings to promote hotel facilities and services.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and rate agreements.
- Negotiate terms and conditions in accordance with hotel guidelines.
Account Management
- Manage and grow assigned accounts to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Maintain regular contact with existing clients to strengthen business relationships.
- Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date client information within the sales database and CRM systems.
Revenue Generation
- Support the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Identify opportunities to increase room nights, meetings, events, and ancillary revenue.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management and Reservations teams to optimize business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Operations, Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Events teams to ensure seamless execution of client requirements.
- Participate in sales meetings, networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed business to operational departments.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate sales activity records and account documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track production, revenue performance, and client trends.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Hotel Sales, C&E; Departments.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, group, or leisure market segments.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
