We are looking for a precise, well-organised and motivated person with an interest in regulatory matters and technical documentation relating to packaging and available to support the Global Regulatory Affairs Manager in daily operations and activities.
This internship offers the opportunity to support the Regulatory Affairs team with the collection, review, organisation and management of technical documentation relating to packaging components, contributing to the preparation of the compliance documentation required under the PPWR Regulation. The initial focus will be on the EU PPWR; depending on business requirements, the evolution of the project and the skills acquired over time, the support may be extended to additional packaging requirements and markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and archive documentation relating to packaging components;
- Verify the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the documentation received;
- Contact suppliers and follow up on the submission of the required information and documents. Monitor open requests, responses and deadlines, escalating persistent delays or critical issues where necessary;
- Support the preparation of declarations of conformity for company products and the related technical documentation;
- Organise and make documentation available to customers and distributors, in line with internal guidelines;
- Work with the functions involved in the project to help ensure that activities progress within the agreed timelines;
- Populate and maintain trackers, component registers, repositories and documentation matrices.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Toxicology or related scientific disciplines;
- A dissertation or educational background in Packaging, Regulatory Affairs or materials safety would be an advantage;
- Experience, even brief, in Regulatory Affairs, preferably with a focus on packaging;
- Good ability to read and interpret technical documentation, guidelines and regulatory requirements;
- Good command of English, with the ability to read and understand technical and regulatory documentation and to liaise with international stakeholders;
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and a practical approach to operational tasks;
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
- Accuracy in document management and information filing;
- Structured approach, operational independence and respect for deadlines;
- Interest in regulatory activities and compliance topics applied to packaging;
- Good knowledge of Office tools, particularly Excel and Word.
