Offer DescriptionThe work plan will be structured into the following phases:
- analysis of the state of the art on the sustainable management of water resources in irrigation districts, with particular reference to water balance,
qualitative and quantitative water monitoring, and the use of NbS;
- characterisation of the irrigation district under study, through the identification of the main hydrological, management, and environmental components of the system;
- assessment of the main quantitative and qualitative issues in water resource management;
- assessment of the role of NbS in runoff retention and regulation, water quality improvement, potential water reuse, and biodiversity support;
- definition of operational recommendations for integrating xysqume NbS into irrigation district management, with reference to the optimisation and replicability of interventions in similar contexts.
