This role is not just about designing; it’s about pioneering gloves that combine functionality with aesthetic appeal, all while staying true to their brand standards and fulfilling market demands. They are only considering candidates from within the EU to bring their local insight and expertise to our brand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft glove designs that set new benchmarks for performance, quality, and style.
- Develop detailed design proposals for new collections, reflecting precise product characteristics and strategic price positioning.
- Choose the best materials and collaborate closely with product developers and pattern makers to engineer gloves that meet high standards of construction and design.
- Actively participate in review sessions,
making necessary adjustments to perfect designs within set timelines.
- Work alongside product developers to select materials and manufacturing technologies that meet both technical specifications and aesthetic aspirations.
- Incorporate the latest textile and color trends into your designs, staying ahead of market dynamics and technological advancements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven Design Experience able to demonstrable expertise in product design, especially gloves or similar accessories.
- Proven grasp of consumer preferences and market trends in the glove industry.
- Advanced technical skills in design software are crucial.
- Thorough understanding of material properties and the manufacturing processes relevant to glove production.
- Exceptional ability to collaborate within a team and communicate design concepts effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fashion, Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Experience in the motorsports or action sports industry.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, PLM, and 3D modeling software.
- Currently resides in the EU or has a EU passport
