WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Land Experience Sales, you will help guests make the most of every destination. Through your sales mindset, relationship-building skills and passion for travel, you will inspire unforgettable experiences while contributing to Costa's commercial success.
Guest Experience & Relationship Building
- Become the trusted point of reference for guests, helping them choose the experiences that suit them best.
- Build meaningful relationships and create memorable moments throughout the guest journey.
- Proactively resolve issues and ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience ashore.
Sales & Business Impact
- Promote shore excursions and packages, turning guest needs into sales opportunities.
- Use a consultative approach to maximize conversion, upselling and revenue growth.
- Contribute to achieving department targets and commercial objectives.
Excursion Operations & Quality
- Support excursion operations to ensure seamless organization and service delivery.
- Monitor excursion quality and guest satisfaction, joining tours when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvements that enhance both guest experience and business performance.
Reporting & Coordination
- Support back-office activities, special requests and operational follow-up.
- Track sales performance and contribute to reporting and decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with onboard teams to deliver exceptional results.
WHO YOU ARE
Required:
- Secondary school education in tourism, languages or related fields
- Some experience in direct sales
- Sales mindset with confidence in promoting products or services
- Fluent English and at least two additional languages (Italian, French, German, Spanish) at high proficiency
- Customer-focused and relationship-driven, with a natural ability to build trust and create memorable experiences
- Results-oriented and resilient, motivated to achieve ambitious goals
- Authentic communicator and storyteller, able to inspire and engage with energy and empathy
- Curious, positive and collaborative, comfortable working across departments with a proactive attitude
Nice to have:
- Previous experience on board or in international, multicultural environments
- Experience in tour offices or with tour operators
