PRODUCT FUNCTIONAL SAFETY & CYBERSECURITY MANAGER
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the global strategy, governance, and operational framework for Functional Safety (ISO 26262, SOTIF, ISO 8800) and Cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, CN GB/T).
- Develop and implement a balanced roadmap and supplier strategy to ensure cost-effective compliance with functional safety and product cybersecurity requirements across all products and processes.
- Work closely with Product Safety and Security, R&D; Centers of Competence, and AI Labs to introduce and deploy innovative methods and tools that enhance compliance and reduce costs.
- Support critical OEM programs in achieving readiness for certification by promoting collaborative and proactive approaches to trust, safety, and cybersecurity.




- Advise product teams on advanced compliance strategies for GenAI, over-the-air (OTA) updates, software-defined vehicles (SDVs), and automated driving (AD) technologies.
- Represent IVG globally in matters of functional safety and cybersecurity, both in supplier relations and internal product strategy discussions.
- Lead the development of standards, foster partnerships with suppliers, and define certification and approval pathways.

Requirements
- Over 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in leadership roles within the automotive or technology industries, with expertise in functional safety, cybersecurity, and systems engineering.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of the business benefits vs. investment costs of applying the functional safety and cybersecurity strategies to the product.
