Our Group AFC function is looking for an intern who will join the Administration team and support on the following activities:
- Masterdata process: maintain and update master data for General Ledger processes and related systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.
- IFRS16 compliance and lease accounting: support the Team to ensure proper recognition, measurement, and reporting of leases according to IFRS16 standards.
- Assets accounting: manage fixed assets lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and related reporting.
- Supporting the Team to ensure compliance with local and group accounting standards and statutory financial requirements.
- Supporting effective internal controls by maintaining proper documentation, evidence, and full reconciliation of General Ledger account balances with source data.
- Ensuring timely and accurate book closing in line with the Group closing calendar.
- Assisting accounting managers and controllers in resolving accounting issues or anomalies, promptly highlighting them and providing recommendations.
- Actively participating in projects and initiatives aimed at process improvement and automation
